The 2008 South Australian State Gliding Championships has been run at Waikerie, from Saturday 29 December 2007 to Friday 4 January 2008. Waikerie Gliding Club, with the support of SAGA, hosted the competition. It was a "fun" competition, run in association with Waikerie's Maurie Bradney Week.

This was a multiclass competition, with water ballast allowed. All scoring was done with data loggers. The handicaps and some other competition data are on the comp details page.
